Howard qualified in 1983 from the University of Leeds. Having qualified, Howard left Leeds to join our practice.
With well over 25 years of experience in General Dental practice, Howard has worked in most fields of Dentistry, but in more recent years he has tended to concentrate on his main interest of Restorative Dentistry.
Always keen to keep up to date with the ever changing face of Dentistry and learn new techniques, Howard attends many postgraduate courses and seminars both locally and further a field. He says the day he loses the enthusiasm for further education will be the day he retires.
Howard aims to provide high quality dental care in a friendly, informal and relaxed atmosphere and never forgetting that he is treating a person and not just a mouth.

General Dentist and Aesthetics Practitioner

Rachael graduated from Newcastle University in 2014. She has also completed postgraduate training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and passed examinations to become a member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons.
Rachael strives to provide high quality general dental care, focusing on prevention and minimally invasive dentistry. She is very friendly and will quickly make you feel at ease. She is committed to continuing professional development and regularly attends lectures and courses to further develop her skills.
Rachael also has a keen interest in facial aesthetics, providing anti-wrinkle injections and dermal filler to help reverse signs of the aging process, and is currently completing a diploma in this field. Her ethos is to provide safe and natural results.
Outside of dentistry Rachael enjoys spending time outdoors and keeping active, and loves long walks in the countryside with her dog Millie.

Robert Dyas after initially starting a degree in Fine Art and Design he changed direction and qualified from Sheffield University Dental School. Shortly after qualifying he started his specialist training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Pinderfields Hospital, Wakefield with further training in Leeds, London and Sheffield. He was awarded a prestigious Welcome Trust Personal Research Training Fellowship. In 1994 he gained his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons. From 1998, he lectured in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, organising and teaching on the undergraduate/postgraduate courses in surgery, implantology and sedation at the University of Manchester.
In 2000, he gained his MMedSci from the University of Sheffield, winning the outstanding research medal from the Royal Society of Medicine. He has published articles in several refereed journals and lectures both nationally and internationally. He provides training courses in all aspects of oral surgery, implantology, bone grafting and behavioural management. He works in a private practice limited to Oral Surgery and dental implantology.
Currently, he is visiting Senior Lecturer on many University implant programs previously ADI Secretary, Treasurer, President Elect and ADI Clinical Mentor, NobelBiocare mentor, Dentsply Peer, Straumann Mentor and SAAD/DSTG Mentor. He is also a regular speaker for Bridge2Aid and a Humble Brush ambassador and is the clinical director of of ProDentalCPD.
In his spare time, Rob enjoys cycling, art and music.

Lucy was born in Cardiff, South Wales, but grew up in Stoke-On-Trent. She has worked in the dental profession since leaving school and is very proud to have worked her way up the ladder from a YTS dental nurse to become a Dental Hygienist/Therapist.
After graduating from the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital in 2009, Lucy felt an affinity with Sheffield and decided to move here permanently.
Lucy's dual qualification in dental hygiene and dental therapy enables her to provide both general and in depth periodontal work. She offers comprehensive treatment and guidance with all gum related issues.
She is very dedicated to her career and is committed to ongoing postgraduate education to update and improve her knowledge in the ever changing world of dentistry.
